Oh, hey you!

I’m back! Rejuvenated, refreshed, and better than ever!

You might be thinking, “what do you mean, back? This is the first post.” A few years ago, I started a blog called “On the Side of Nine to Five” where I shared my passion for cooking, hostessing, exercising, and general thoughts on life.

OTS was built out of the desire to pursue and experience my passions.  You see, a once goofy and light-hearted person found herself stuck.  Stuck living on a rigid schedule, stressed about everything from work to exercise and trying to be it all.  My blog was an outlet where I expressed emotion and creativity, and at times, was somewhat vulnerable.

I truly loved every second of it.

So why did I stop?

Well, life happened, I guess.  I was taking on more responsibility at work, trying to have a social life, and working to get a masters.  As much as I love ‘doing’, I am a quintessential busy-bee, I needed a break.  Making a new meal, coming up with recipes, and creating new play lists for my spin classes started to feel like work.

Despite how much I loved sharing and writing, I shut down On the Side.

Fast forward two years later (wow, this means I’m in year 4 of living in Manhattan), I found myself in a similar place…a little lost and very stuck.

I’m going to be real with you…when I tossed my graduation cap in the air in 2009, I thought my life would look a bit different at age 30.  You know, married, kids, white picket fence – pure bliss.

Sometimes the fact that I’m not living my 22 year old self’s dream makes me sad.

In lieu of the picture my 22 year old self painted, I have a huge canvas with so many blank spaces that I add to every single day, month, and year.

Life is good. I could have never wished for better friends from all points in my life; that I would have lived in both Boston and NYC, found a unique passion for holistic health and wellness, exercise and the desire to educate and help others live their healthiest life, found my career niche in Marketing, traveled to so many of my bucket list countries, developed an insatiable love for food, cooking, and everything along with it, become a certified spin instructor and Health Coach, spoken live in front of over 1,000 people at JAZZ at Lincoln Center, interviewed some of the top people in health and wellness, and the list goes on and on…I have so much gratitude

// As unexpected as all of these things were as I reflect on how I developed some of these passions or why some of these events happened, I think perhaps I manifested it all along //

So here we are, 2017, what an amazing and scary time to be alive, right?

And here I am with a brand new site, new services and products just for YOU.

My goal with my new site is to give you insight into my services and offerings which include strategic marketing and branding, Health, Wellness, and Life Coaching services, Public Speaking, and of course some really cool free content to help you live your best life possible.
